Hurt in Los Angeles? You'll Talk to the Attorney, Not A Call Center
At AL Accident Law, the attorney handling your case handles it personally. You call, your attorney answers. No intake queue, no case manager, no three-day wait for a callback.
Why Choose AL Accident Law?
We Win
We work on contingency, so you owe us nothing unless we recover money for you. No upfront cost, no hourly billing, no invoices arriving while you’re out of work.
Call and you reach the attorney handling your claim. No intake screener deciding whether your case is worth passing along, and no version of this where you explain your accident three times to three different people.
Large firms hand your file down a chain of associates as it ages. We don’t. The attorney who hears your story on day one is the attorney negotiating your settlement at the end.
Crashes don’t keep office hours and neither does our phone. The first 48 hours decide what evidence still exists, so someone picks up when it matters.

You Deserve an Injury Attorney Who Actually Fights for You
AL Accident Law is small by design. We keep caseloads low so the person fighting the insurance company is the person who knows your name, your injury, and what your week actually looks like.
- You talk to your attorney, not a case manager. Call the office and you reach the personal injury attorney handling your claim. No intake screener, no paralegal relaying messages, no three-day wait for a callback.
- One attorney, start to finish. Large firms pass your file down a chain of associates. Here, the attorney who takes your first call is the attorney negotiating your settlement at the end.
- Nothing out of pocket, ever. AL Accident Law works on contingency. No retainer, no hourly billing, no invoices arriving while you are out of work. We don’t get paid unless you do.
- Someone answers when the accident happens. Crashes don’t wait for business hours. Our line is answered 24/7 because the first 48 hours decide what evidence still exists.
Local to Los Angeles County. Based in Calabasas, we handle claims across Los Angeles County and the surrounding Southern California courts. We know the venues, the carriers, and how claims actually move here.
Personal Injury Cases AL Accident Law Handles
Car
Accidents
Rear-end collisions, intersection crashes, hit-and-run cases, and distracted driving claims on the 101, the 405, and surface streets across Los Angeles County.
Pedestrian
Accidents
Crosswalk, intersection, and parking lot strikes, where injuries run severe and the driver’s insurer moves quickly to blame the person on foot.
Slip and
Fall
Wet floors, uneven walkways, broken stairs, and poor lighting. California property owners owe visitors reasonable care, and proving the owner knew about the hazard is the case.
Workplace
Injuries
Equipment failures, unsafe sites, and third-party negligence at work, including claims that fall outside the workers’ compensation system.
Not sure if you have a case? Call for a free consultation.
Hurt Today? Do These Five Things.
The insurance company will call you within 48 hours, and that call is not for your benefit. Protect your injury claim before you speak to anyone.
1
Get Medical Care Today, Not Next Week
Gaps in treatment are the first thing an adjuster uses to argue you were not really hurt. Go even if you think you can walk it off.
3
Get the Report Number Before You Leave
LAPD and CHP issue a traffic collision report number at the scene. After a fall, the property manager or store has an incident report, and you are entitled to that number.
5
Call Before the Clock Runs
California gives most injury victims two years from the date of injury to file [Cal. Code Civ. Proc. § 335.1]. Claims against a public entity, including a city bus or a hazardous public road, drop to six months [Cal. Gov. Code § 911.2].
2
Photograph Everything Before It Changes
Vehicle damage, the intersection, the wet floor, your visible injuries. Scenes get cleaned up and repaired within days.
4
Say Nothing Recorded to the Insurer
You are not required to give a recorded statement to the at-fault party’s carrier. Decline politely and refer them to your attorney.
What a California Personal Injury Claim Actually Involves
A personal injury claim is a demand for money from the person or company whose carelessness hurt you, and from their insurance company. Four things have to line up. They owed you a duty of reasonable care. They broke it. That breach caused your injury. The injury cost you something measurable. Most claims are won or lost on the last two points, not the first two.
California is a pure comparative fault state. If a jury finds you 20 percent responsible for the crash, your recovery drops by 20 percent, and it never drops to zero [Li v. Yellow Cab Co. (1975) 13 Cal.3d 804]. Adjusters know this, so they arrive with a theory of why the accident was partly your fault. Dismantling that theory is the work.
What you can recover
Medical costs. Emergency treatment, surgery, imaging, physical therapy, and the care you will still need next year.
Lost income. Wages you missed, plus reduced earning capacity if you cannot return to the same work.
Pain and suffering. The part with no receipt attached, and the part insurers fight hardest.
Property damage. Your vehicle, your bike, whatever was destroyed.
Future care. Ongoing treatment projected across your lifetime after a serious injury.
| Type of claim | Deadline | Statute |
|---|---|---|
| Most personal injury claims | 2 years from the date of injury | Cal. Code Civ. Proc. § 335.1 |
| Claim against a city, county, or state entity | 6 months to file an administrative claim | Cal. Gov. Code § 911.2 |
| Property damage only | 3 years | Cal. Code Civ. Proc. § 338 |
The adjuster assigned to your injury claim settles injury cases for a living. Until this week, you had never handled one.
The first offer is a test. Insurers open low to find out whether you know what your injury claim is worth. Accepting it closes your file permanently, including the surgery you do not know you need yet.
Recorded statements become evidence. The friendly call asking how you are feeling gets transcribed and read back to you months later. “I’m doing okay” turns into an argument that you recovered.
Evidence disappears on a schedule. Traffic camera footage gets overwritten. Store video is often kept 30 days. Skid marks wash away in the first rain. Preservation letters have to go out early, and that is not something you can do from a hospital bed.
Medical bills need managing, not just paying. Liens, health plan reimbursement, and med-pay coordination decide how much of a settlement actually reaches you. A number that looks large can net you very little.
Deadlines are absolute. Miss the two-year window and the claim is gone [Cal. Code Civ. Proc. § 335.1]. Government claims give you six months [Cal. Gov. Code § 911.2].
Represented claimants get treated differently. Once a personal injury attorney appears on the file, the adjuster is no longer negotiating against an injured person alone.
Hi, I’m Francesca Agranovich. I’m a personal injury attorney and the founder of AL Accident Law.
I know what the weeks after an accident look like. Appointments you can’t schedule around work you aren’t able to do. Bills arriving faster than answers. An adjuster who sounds helpful and is paid not to be. I take that weight off you and carry it myself.
That’s only possible because we keep caseloads small enough that your attorney answers the phone. You get a direct line, plain answers, and an attorney who won’t soften your case to close it early. I take the time to understand your situation, explain your rights, and stay with you through every step.
You are not a case number here. You are a person, and your recovery is my priority.
We don’t get paid unless you do.
Based in Calabasas, we represent injury clients throughout Los Angeles County and Southern California.
How much does a personal injury lawyer cost in Los Angeles?
Nothing up front. AL Accident Law works on contingency, so the fee comes out of the recovery. No recovery, no attorney’s fee. Ask for the exact percentage during your free consultation and get it in writing in the retainer.
How long do I have to file an injury claim in California?
Two years from the date of injury for most personal injury claims [Cal. Code Civ. Proc. § 335.1]. If a government entity is involved, such as a city bus or a hazardous public roadway, you have six months to file an administrative claim [Cal. Gov. Code § 911.2]. Waiting costs you evidence long before it costs you the deadline.
The accident was partly my fault. Do I still have a case?
Probably yes. California uses pure comparative fault, so your recovery is reduced by your share of responsibility rather than wiped out [Li v. Yellow Cab Co. (1975) 13 Cal.3d 804]. Adjusters routinely overstate a claimant’s share. Let the facts get established before you accept their number.
Should I accept the insurance company’s first offer?
Not before an attorney reviews it. The first offer usually arrives before anyone knows the full cost of your treatment, and signing the release closes your claim for good.
How long will my personal injury case take?
An injury claim with clear liability and completed treatment can resolve in a few months. Disputed liability, serious injuries, or litigation stretches that out. We would rather give you an honest range after reading your file than a number that sounds good on a website.
Do I have to go to court?
Most injury claims settle. Filing a lawsuit is a tool for applying pressure and for protecting your rights against the deadline, and it does not mean you will end up testifying at trial.
What if the driver who hit me had no insurance?
Your own uninsured or underinsured motorist coverage may apply, and there may be other liable parties, including an employer if the driver was working at the time. Bring your own policy to the consultation.
I already spoke to the other insurance company. Did I ruin my injury claim?
Usually not. Call now so we can see exactly what was said and contain it. Stop giving statements until you have talked to a personal injury attorney.
Will I talk to an attorney, or to staff?
An attorney. AL Accident Law is built so that the lawyer who answers your first call is the lawyer handling your claim, filing your case if it comes to that, and negotiating with the insurance company. No intake team and no case manager sits between you and your attorney.
Talk to a Personal Injury Attorney Today. Not a Call Center.
You have two years to file, and the evidence has far less time than that. One call tells you whether you have a case, what it may be worth, and what happens next. You’ll be speaking with an attorney, not an intake service. The consultation is free and you owe nothing unless we win.
